Leadership

"As a philanthropist, I have always had a keen interest in my surroundings and people so growing up in Kavango gave me the opportunity to observe the living conditions of the vulnerable children living there first-hand. I grew to learn about their educational and general needs and helped out where I could.  Through interactions with the children, an expansion of the charity work I was already involved in was a necessary step to make a more significant and meaningful impact in an area I consider to be home."

Meet the team

At WeniKavango Project, we are a small but dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world.

Nathalia Nelulu

I wasn't raised by my biological parents but the parents, my uncle and aunt raised me with so much love, and not many people are fortunate enough to have people that are not their biological parents love them the way my uncle and Aunt love me and I want to pay it forward by showing that same kind of love to children and other people who need it too.

That's why I joined Weni Kavango

Aina Kauluma

I believe that one of our life's purposes is to love, and to love is to give with an open heart. We live in a world where some people have things in excess while others have a lack of in their lives. Every one is deserving of having enough to live a decent life so if in my capacity I am able to aid the transition from lacking to having, I would be more than happy to. Weni Kavango provides me with exactly that opportunity and I am deeply honoured to be able to grow with and because of Weni Kavango.

Klaudia Yatwina

I'm a teacher, and I specialise in teaching lower elementary school. I enjoy working with kids, and their joy has motivated me to pursue this line of work. I decided to take part in the Weni Kavango Project because it is consistent with my commitment to ensuring that kids have access to high-quality education.

The three things I love most are reading, netball, and God.

Manu Jefta

I've always aspired to contribute to the advancement of my community. I wish to make a difference and believe that money earned by someone who does not give back to society is completely wasted. I wish to serve as an example for my community. Charity alone won't end poverty; education must be the solution. Unless they are instructed in how to learn, earn, live, and develop their gift. I think that if you can provide, you can mould children in any way. I joined the Weni Kavango Project for this reason.
